We don’t just sell sustainable products. FISHSTONE was founded on the ideals of pursuing our passion – fishing – in harmony with our environment.
FISHSTONE’s philosophy on responsibility as passionate anglers and manufacturers of sustainable fishing equipment
First and foremost, this includes our ecological responsibility. We see the angling community in the role of guardian of the waters, because few hobbies are so closely linked to the health of our nature, the waters and ecosystems. If our waters are healthy, clean and cared for, we can move to that waters and cast our fishing rods with a clear mind.
To achieve this goal, we develop and produce products that keep the toxic substance lead out of our waters. Reducing plastic in our production and keeping it out of our nature is also an important issue. In addition to the direct impact of our activities at our own feet, the underlying processes are just as crucial for a holistic sustainable concept. The production and supply chains play an important role in our impact on the environment. That’s why we keep our chains short, regional and start our responsibility at the origins of our products.
However, it is not enough for us to just meet our own standards. We want to continue to carry the message for responsible fishing into the community. Be it the self-evident collection of rubbish and thus keeping the shore areas clean or the responsible handling of feeding quantities. Nature comes first, then it forms the basis for us as an angling community. That is why we communicate these values in our corporate presentation as an overriding goal.
The angling scene as a socially and culturally connected community
In addition to ecological aspects, social principles are also anchored in our philosophy. In order to achieve our ecological goals, we see the way we communicate within the community and present ourselves to society as important keys! Friendly and respectful interaction within the angling scene is just as essential as communicating and representing these values transparently to the outside world. We stand up for the social standing and the important role of anglers as water guards.
